Some of you long-time visitors may remember Ed Kunze or have read his fishing reports. Sadly, I only learned today about the passing of Ed Kunze last December 31, though I know none of the details. I met Ed shortly after he arrived here in the late 90's when he and his son worked together on fishing charters. I hadn't seen him for a few years, but we remained in contact periodically via e-mails. I know he loved his life here, and that this place brought him the happiness he had always sought. My heart goes out to his beloved wife Rebeca and his family.
This Wednesday remained mostly cloudy again with very comfortable temps that remained mild but not so cool overnight. There's even a slight chance of rain. Clouds are likely to continue through Thursday mixed with sunshine. A perfect Jueves Pozolero for enjoying one of Guerrero's most popular dishes, pozole, typically eaten only on Thursdays.
Restaurants along the downtown waterfront were doing a good business this Wednesday evening, mostly filled with foreigners. A wonderful Mexican trio was playing at Daniel's, singing boleros, the type of music my wife and I enjoy the most.
