Una VeZIHndad Cálida
Lots of people having fun and dancing this Friday evening at Plaza del Artista and at Daniel's restaurant a short distance away. Evenings are usually quite lovely along the waterfront, and tonight was no exception. We enjoy some of the most beautiful colors of the sunset along the Costa Grande of Guerrero.
Today was another beautiful balmy sunny day in paradise, but cool weather is predicted for this coming Sunday morning of around 16°C. Brrrr!! Get yer longjohns ready! Dig out your sweaters and parkas!
The water temperature is cold for locals at 27.6°C, the average for this time of year. So far we've been lucky not to have any serious red tide events, but this is the time of year for them. Patches of algae or green slime in the water are usually the first sign. They're not from sewage as I've seen people comment, but from algae blooms.
Don't forget the Paella Fest is this Saturday evening at 6PM at the municipal pier to raise funds for the local Rotary Club Zihuatanejo.
There's also a surfing tournament at Playa Linda this Saturday and Sunday starting at 8AM.

El sol brilla fuertemente primera cosa en la mañana al aparecer sobre los cerros del anfiteatro de la bahía de Zihuatanejo.
