CPAP DISTILLED WATER for sale ?

I’ve always given up on finding distilled de mineralized water for my c pap machine here in zihua.

Has anyone been able to buy it here and where ?

I’ve not the equipment nor desire to make it myself.

Even with using bottled water there is too much calcified residue left in water cartridge and then I end up breathing that in.

I turn the heat way down on mine and run it dry.

Try the pharmacy. They sell agua inyectable. It comes in a one liter square bottle and the brand is Pisa. I use it with salt that I add for sinus irrigation.

Someone had mentioned that an auto parts store may have distilled water

I asked (for a friend) at a Farmacia in Ixtapa and was told yes we have distilled water for CPAP.

I have also heard Soriana has distilled water in the area they sell clothes irons.

I did go to soriana they sell online distilled or demineralized water for irons and that will work but when I selected it and chose zihua as delivery - it wouldn’t let me select it and product disappeared- I’ll try on my laptop.

And yes I can run it dry - silly I didn’t think to do that, I’m just so used to adding water.

I’ll check the auto zone though on the website it didn’t appear. I may look at a battery shop.

Farmacia Koyuca in Zihua has agua distillada for CPAP.

We ordered Agua Destilada from hotel front desk. They called a local pharmacy and delivered 2 bottles for $30 US. Very expensive distilled water compared to $1.50 /gallon US
Brand was ISABA.

well I finally found distilled water as recommended in Ixtapa
they also had injectable water at farmacia coyuca

all in 1 litre bottles

but if I do the math the cost is like 12 dollars per gallon

in the us its 1.50

may just run dry

I have no expertise in this. I’m only reporting what repeat guests have told me.

The first time they visited with me they were seeking distilled water for CPAP. When it appeared they wouldn’t find it, they checked with their CPAP maker. The maker said, there is no problem to use RO water. We recommend distilled for long term use, but ROMis fine for occasional use.

They have been repeat guests using garrafón RO water without any problems.
