Departing Ixtapa airport permanent resident

Just wondering as a 10 year Permanent Resident why you all have to do this.

Interesting.

I sometimes depart Mexico from Zihuatanejo and sometimes from Terminal 2 in DF. In both places I have to register my departure. In ZIH it is in the little office. In MEX it is at a kiosk.
