Wife and I are looking for long-stay rental in La Ropa
Buen dia amigos!
Me, and my wife have been coming to Zihua/Ixtapa for about five years now, but only a week at a time. Now that we will be retired this time next year we will be looking for a rental for a longer stay. We have been to Ixtapa and Troncones, but have not stayed in Zihuatanejo. We have visited it often. We really like the feel of Zihua, especially La Ropa. I have done some quick searches on some properties, but they all look fully booked on the surface. My search was for around mid-February, 2025. Is there a more defined chat for properties owners who are looking to rent? Does each property have a rental office?

Hola y muy buen día. Many of the vacation rentals listed here on my website also offer discounts for longer stays. Just ask for their special long-term rates if they aren't listed on their website.
No, most properties don't have a rental office. None that I list, that I'm aware of. Here it's all direct contact with the owner or their designated agent.
Wife and I are looking for long-stay rental in La Ropa
We just returned to the States after five months at our place overlooking La Ropa. Many of our neighbors, who bought their condos when they were younger and rented them in the past, are now retired and spend the winter in our own homes. Most rental units where we live are already booked in 2025. Visitors who had been accustomed to renting for a month or more at our complex are finding they have to split their time in Zihua among different locations.
I wish you well in finding a long term rental on La Ropa but the reality, at least where we are, is that the demand is far exceeding the supply. If you are willing to spend two weeks at a time at various places, I think you'll have better luck spending the winter in Zihuatanejo.
VRBO is probably the go-to website to search for rentals.
