PresenZIHar el Desfile de Carnaval
Folks have been arriving on foot to downtown Zihuatanejo and seeking a spot for watching the Carnaval parade for much of the past hour, and the parade won't start for another half hour or so. If you aren't here yet, hurry! Get your glitter on!
Sunday morning there were busloads of day trippers asleep on the downtown beach. Other families were wandering around dragging their suitcases and coolers and keeping tabs on their kids while helping their elderly. A scene that repeats itself pretty much every weekend, especially on long weekends like this one in commemoration of the birth of former Presidente Benito Juárez.
Had some clouds roll past today making for some scenic skies and milder temps. Yesterday was windy, but today there's mostly been a gentle breeze. Some small waves in the bay today made for easy swimming, though at 25.14°C in the bay, the water is too nipper for a lot of locals. The cool water helps keep the daytime temps mild, though it gets cool enough at night to sleep under a light blanket or two sheets. Perfect!

La salida del sol en Playa Principal en la bahía de Zihuatanejo. Mientras unos pescadores venden su producto y guardan su equipo de pesca, se ve muchos turistas en el fondo quienes acaban de arribar por autobús.
