The visitors for Semana Santa began arriving today slowly but surely. Expect beaches and restaurants to be crowded this weekend more than usual. If you need to get cash from the banks I recommend doing so ASAP. ATM's tend to run out of cash during this vacation period.

Cooler air is expected to push through. Thursday night got kinda cool towards the early morning, but cooler temps are expected this weekend.

Did anyone feel the 4.1 quake Thursday evening at 11:24 p.m. centered in Ixtapa? I barely felt a nudge, but it was noticeable if you were sitting or lying still.

Remember, the Feria de Petatlán starts up this Monday. If you aren't planning on spending the night then I recommend going around noon in order to enjoy yourself and still get back before dark.
