Ouch. Rumor is that the Oaxaca to Huatulco bus ride, is, to use the lexicon of the surfers down there, gnarly.

Terrifying is the word I would use. I was sure we were gonna' die. Those 2,000 foot cliffs right up against the side of the road! They wouldn't find your bodies for months.

Better to fly into Puerto Escondido. Hey! I didn't check if there were still direct flights to Puerto Escondido. Next post. UPDATE: Nope! No more direct flights to Puerto Escondido. This is getting serious. So glad that Zihua is still direct.
