Crocodile hysteria continues. A damn shame. One entered someone's swimming pool at Playa Blanca and all the social media and news had to post photos of it, with the predictable negative and clueless responses by people who know nothing about them and have even less respect for them, including many who should know better.
This Thursday morning we awoke to a bit more sea fog than we've seen lately. In some places along the coast it was quite dense. Check out the webcams on my Beaches page in the morning.
This evening we enjoyed a cool breeze along the waterfront. While inland there've been hot temperatures as high as 40°C, we're still enjoying mild temperatures thanks to the cool ocean temperature between 23 and 24°C in Zihuatanejo's bay. Enjoying it while it lasts, because any day now there'll be a puff of wind from the south that will change everything.
I wonder what day we'll get our first rain?
Ten years ago on this date Zihuatanejo was hit by a 7.2 earthquake. One I will never forget and the likes of which I truly hope I never experience again. Scared the bejeezus outta me!
An excellent way to enjoy our coastal region is from the ocean with its majestic views of the mountains. For your adventure on our local waters I highly recommend the services of Zihuatanejo Ixtapa Charters. They have vessels for all occasions. Take your pick and enjoy an unforgettable day in our paradise.

Okay, okay, I translated it to Esperanto to avoid a showdown. Problem solved.

I like the posted part written in Spanish, I practice my Spanish with it. I scroll down to the Spanish part make my attempt to read and understand it before I scroll down to the picture, as they say a picture is worth a thousand words. So thank you Rob for all three parts of your daily report.

Hola.
Love your posts about Zihua life. But I cant figure why you end your post with a comment in spanish. Your whole post is in English, your first langauge. You are a gringo who married a Mexican. What is with your BS last comment before a great picture?
Guess you don’t understand the concept of an open forum. Any of us can post whatever, don’t need approval. I at least picked up the meaning of mar de fondo, now go off and play in it. El que se enoja, pierde.
