A Doctor named CASTRO is an Angiologo, was recommended to me for vascular & circulation problems.
He works at the local Hospital Bernardo Sepúlveda.
I was there recently, & was told that he was "on vacation".
You may want to check there in person upstairs at the Administración, to see when/if he'll be back.
And, IF he does the type of surgery You need.

You are probably better off going to Morelia. Either Hospital Angeles in Altozano or Star Medica near the zoo. We've had great service up there from a number of specialists.

I just answered the question, that's all.
Though I would agree that a fully equipped Hospital elsewhere would be better, such as
Star Médica in Morelia, as U recommended.
I saw Dr. Rogelio Grayeb a few years ago. He speaks excellent English and should be able to make a recommendation. 755-554-3334
I don’t know for sure, but I doubt that there is a vascular surgeon there. A vascular surgeon needs to do angiograms (blood vessel x-rays). Zihuatanejo does not have a cardiac cath lab and since a cardiac cath is basically a focused angiogram, I doubt that they have the facilities to support a vascular surgeon.
