I frequent the bars and restaurants on Calle Agustín Ramírez and Calle Pedro Ascencio. I am appalled at what the mayor is doing. There was nothing wrong with those charming streets. I am not yet a citizen so to involve myself in politics risks deportation with no legal recourse. Damn it; I may have to write a poem about this!

Criticizing corruption or wasted taxpayer money on unnecessary public works is not immersing oneself in politics or violating Art. 33 of the Constitución by any stretch of the imagination, certainly not like the foreigners involved in Por Los Niños who have been helping the current mayor for many years even before he was mayor and who are now helping the mayor's wife's political campaign. You pay taxes and your voice deserves to be heard, which is why I hope, if you haven't done so already, you'll register a denuncia with PROFEPA regarding the ongoing ECOCIDE at La Ropa between La Gaviota and Capricho del Rey. We need all the voices we can get.
