Laura Kelly

For those of you who are long-time users of the message board, you would be familiar with our dear friend Doña Laura — articulate, kind, helpful, caring.

She had to be emergency airlifted to UCLA Medical Center with life-threatening heart and pulmonary issues.

Laura had no emergency evacuation insurance or funds. Her sister loaned her the money, but could ill-afford that herself.

That's where all of us who have benefited from Laura' generosity and kindness over the years come in. A pop-up GO FUND ME page has been created to pay for all these huge hospital and transport expenses.

Thanks, Rob. Some folks have posted critiques of Laura's life choices on Facebook. As far as I'm concerned Laura has always put others before herself...in the best possible way.
