If you were in Zihuatanejo this Wednesday then you enjoyed another absolutely perfect day in paradise! A nice gentle breeze kept beachgoers comfortable, and storms on the horizon made for picturesque tropical skies. It barely sprinkled in the late afternoon, but it managed to bring the temps down a tad and make the evening quite comfortable. Those of us who are here are loving it.

We had a little temblorcito that measured 4.3 this Wednesday evening at 7:38 P.M. local time. It's epicenter was 24 km from Zihuatanejo off the coast of Barra de Potosí. No damages to report. I didn't feel it but our daughter said she did. Never a dull moment in paradise.

Hardly any people along the waterfront this evening except a few locals, quite a few friends among them. I heard some English being spoken by diners at La Porteña restaurant, which is almost always full of people no matter what time of year it is because of their excellent food and service. Last night there was a big wing-ding at La Angustina, and tonight a reporter was interviewing the owner's son there. Even though things are tight for locals between now and November, it seems people are more relaxed now without lots of visitors around. Lots of easy smiles and greetings. Our typical small town atmosphere.

A laid-back luxury inn located on the beach at Playa Manzanillo with 10 individual air-conditioned tropical bungalow suites in a serene tropical setting around a pool and excellent restaurant serving some of the most incredible dishes in the region. A perfect location for surfers and those who like to watch them.
