La Portena and Angustina are two of my favourite restaurants here. The Angustina family also has Norvales which is on Augustine Ramerez and a new deli sandwich place on Pedro Ascencio across from Zorro’s. The former has great neuvo Mexican food and the latter has ab fab pastrami sandwiches.
