It's been raining off and on since Saturday night. Mostly brief sprinkles and light rains, but we'll take what we can get. It looks like we could get plenty more in the hours and days ahead. We stocked up at the grocery store today just in case.

The downtown beach wasn't very full today. Don't know about the other ones. An early evening rain sent home what few people who were along the waterfront. There's hardly anyone out'n'about this Sunday evening while the rain continues.

The waves haven't been very big lately, just barely big enough for surfing at around a meter high along the open ocean. Usually passing storms kick up quite a bit of wave action, but there have been so few storms so far that waves are much calmer than usual.

One of the nicest lodgings at Troncones that seems to have something for everyone is Casa de La Sirena. A luxurious private beachfront compound in Troncones featuring a 3-bedroom villa with a private pool, three 1-bedroom MiniVillas, and two side-by-side 2-story 1-bedroom bungalows that share a pool. Truly an oasis in paradise!
