Yes we know that what happens in the USA and other places,
may affect what happens in "Zihua", as others have noted.
And yes, we know that a post can be skipped if it isn't of your interest.

Nevertheless I myself would prefer that those topics would be discussed
on a separte political type Forum.

I would prefer as I think victorio does,
that the Z Board would be a real "This Town" Forum.
Maybe as it may have been initially?
Yes, it is somewhat of a Purist point-of-view.
In general: Leave "politics" out,
unless they're here locally, & affect life in Zihuatanejo.

And people can "shop elsewhere" for other topics that interest them,
whether or not for whatever reason,
they have some tie with Zihuatanejo.

I've been around long enough to recall when there were two Zihua-centric "message boards", and "politics" - local, state, national and international - has always been an entertaining and instructive part of the regular fare. Discussion of local Zihua/Guerrero/Mexico politics.....to me, anyway....is of as much interest as the weather, local food, customs, etc. Understandably, the 1 or 2 week folks may want to leave their politics at home. I prefer to know what's happening, no matter where I am.
The solution shouldn't be censorship. If folks don't like particular threads, move on to the ones you like.
