Dormir con la MúZIHca del Mar
After sleeping to the lullaby of larger-than-normal waves on Zihuatanejo's Playa Principal all night, we awoke to clear clean skies. The rising sun at our latitude gets bright and hot fast, so many of us do many of our chores and get our exercise before sunrise or as early as possible. Seeing more extranjeros out taking morning walks lately, so they continue arriving. A few small clouds floated by this morning before disappearing. It was another absolutely picture-postcard-perfect beach day for people on vacation.
There's still time to make reservations for Thanksgiving dinner at Deborah's Restaurant on the boulevard in Ixtapa. A time-honored tradition for many local Gringo residents and mixed-nationality families. Deborah serves up all the traditional fixings prepared to perfection. Save room for dessert, if you can. It'll be worth it!
Whale sightings continue in our region. My friend Ramón Olea with his panga Oleaje is certified and able to get you safely and back to where the whales are. I highly recommend his services.
