Anyone have advice on where to buy curtains for windows. I will check on Electra and Coppel. Gracias.

I recommend persianas. We had to buy material and have ours made.

The worst customer service experiences I have had in Zihua have been at the fabric stores. The employees seem to go out of their way to avoid helping a customer with fabric that requires cutting etc. That being said, the fabric stores, one right next to Sams and two others almost across from each other on the same street, Benito Juarez in El Centro are the places to go to look for fabric. They do not seem to stock much in the way of curtain rods but that is the best place to start. There are several persons, male and female, who work in stalls near El Centro sewing for custom orders. You may find some names here on this website.

We really love the three fabric stores, but do approach them knowing that service is very spotty to say the least. Amazing choices, and at amazing prices!!!

We have purchased from Holliday House a couple of times. They come out to measure and bring samples. Decent product selection and the price seemed reasonable. It took longer than promised to get them installed though.
