We're starting to get used to the cool mornings. The current nighttime temperatures sure make for great sleeping weather. It makes waking early even more worth it just for snuggling.

It was almost strange to see clouds today after so many days of cloudless weather. Of course they just happened to be the foreboding nubes aborregados. Fortunately the earthquake they foreboded never occurred.

I saw two large groups of people early this morning dragging along their suitcases and coolers. What was unusual is that they weren't going to Playa Las Gatas as we normally see busloads of people doing, but they were instead going in the other direction, as if back to their buses. Something we don't normally see on a Wednesday morning here.

One group of Guadalupanos set off the loudest skyrockets we've ever heard this Wednesday evening. Extremely unpleasant, and a rude response to the mayor's and the community's request not to use skyrockets. Unfortunately they seemed to have a permit, which again puts the burden on the mayor. Why is she issuing permits for something the community doesn't want to happen?
