Basically, how much would a small apartment cost to rent monthly?

Like a one bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living room. Fit for me and my wife. We are minimalistic and not materialistic. 0 kids.

Doesn't have to be close to the sea but would be helpful to be semi furnished.

I can handle a landlord using Spanish and living locally. I've lived in El Bajio since 2009 and my wife is Mexican and we are considering a change.

So depends. Do you want a condo or a little place in town on the second or third floor with loud bars A/C or not? The choices are endless as are the prices which vary seasonally.
