Folks who were up early this Tuesday morning in Zihuatanejo got to enjoy beautiful painted skies over our coast for a few brief minutes. But you had to be there, otherwise *poof* and it was gone. We also enjoyed another evening of cool sleeping weather and a day of mild temperatures with refreshing breezes. Seeing all the photos of snowstorms up north is like seeing images from Mars or some other planet. Surreal and other worldly.

Everyone keeps saying they're seeing lots of Canadians but not so many Estadounidenses. What's up with that? Is it just their imagination?

After the past two weeks it's refreshing to not have crowds around. They're fun and sometimes amusing to watch from my rooftop, but that's about it. But I have to say, the downtown beach remained quite clean during the vacation period, especially for all the people using it. No Blue Flag wanted or needed here. Let folks do whatever they want as long as they don't bother others and they clean up after themselves. That's how beaches are supposed to be used.
