Besides all the rain and some thunder, there was an earthquake in the middle of last night. Any idea where the epicenter was and the magnitude?

There were several, the biggest being a 6.2 in Aquila, Michoacán, and a lot of replicas afterwards in the area of Coalcoman, Michoacán. There are a couple of earthquake links here on my WEATHER page.

I recently installed this free app that sends an alert when seismic activity is detected in Mexico that might affect us here in Zihuatanejo. https://sassla.mx. It went off LOUDLY in the middle of the night.
