A light rain cooled Saturday night down considerably, and Sunday morning was long-sleeve and even sweater weather for many locals. But of course during the middle of the night many of us were awakened by our earthquake alarm apps. While we didn't feel anything, as far away as Mexico City alarms sounded and everyone was worried about the folks in Coalcomán and Aquila in Michoacán.

In spite of the rain, once again tourists flocked to the downtown beach early and were swimming before the sun even rose. The damp sand didn't seem to bother anyone. And the beach got quite crowded as the day went on. The sun peeked out every now and then, sometimes hanging around for a while. It warmed the day up nicely, but it never got hot. Just right. About the same temperature as the ocean water. It's currently sprinkling off and on, and we may get some more of this during the week.

We certainly are noticing a steady increase in visitors from north of the border. Welcome back! Hope you enjoyed the rain and cool weather.
