Bodega Locations

I read somewhere that other than the Zihautenejo location, Bodega has another location outside of the Ixtapa area. Anyone know where this is? Which of the 2 Bodegas are closer to the Ixtapa Pacifica area? Are grocery prices similar? Is there a bus that goes there from Ixtapa?

No, there are no other Bodega Aurrerá stores in our region. Just the one in Zihuatanejo.

In Ixtapa the Merza store on Ixtapa Boulevard is going to be your best bet for groceries if you don't want to come all the way into Zihuatanejo.

The La Puerta Bodega is smaller than the one in Zihua. No idea on price comparisons. Yes, there is a bus to get there from Ixtapa.

Rob, you need to get out more. The Bodeguita in La Puerta (3 stores away from Julio's, La Merza & Farmacia Similares) has been around for at least 6 years!!! Maybe more.

Pacifica Ixtapa is probably equidistant either Aurrera Bodega locations. Bodega Zihuatanejo is more public transport friendly than is Bodega in La Puerta.

Sorry to have to tell you but there is a Bodega in LA Puerta, not as big as the one in Zihau but they do have a pretty good selection

La Puerta is a neat little town. Lots of different things there.
