Holy Calmness.

This was my first time and not my last time visiting Santo Pacifico.

I missed their grand opening early December and glad to discover them.

They are located in Ixtapa directly across the street from Sunscape.

There is a lunch menu till 5 then the dinner menu.

Their opening photos looked great and I had no plans of having dinner there today.

Absolutely great dinner and service at a great cost.

I had a thick perfectly cooked dorado in butter, garlic and dill sauce. Not overly butter and just enough touch of dill. The fish had a great cooked crust that tasted like beef. The delicate flaky dorado with the sauce was incredible. Don't shoot the messenger, but I had red wine. The plate comes with a puree of potato, veges and bread.

Ruben is the main server and speaks great English.

Lunch menu till 5 pm and Ruben claims the best cocktel de camaron in the area.

Back again in a day or two to report on the coktel de camaron.

Provecho.

Interesting. We went and were unimpressed. I'd be interested in your next visit. On the bad list recently for us was El Faro. First they told me they had a dress code and my Olukai sandals were not approved. I had on long pants, a rarity for me here, and a button down shirt. Plenty of men with shorts and sneakers, so that's ok. Dorado was good, but room temperature. Mashed potatoes and the side of spinach were cold, so they were sent back to the microwave. The artichoke app was a bit tough and the sauce was very sweet. (Much better artichokes at Chuleto or El Mediterraneaneo in Zihua.) My wife had the tomato soup which was very salty. ATA sushi also not so good. Lots of rice and not much fish that is frozen. On the plus side, we had a very good meal with fresh tuna at El Agave on Nicholas Bravo. We went to Jungle Pizza last night and ran into several friends. Reuben, the owner, allows me to bring vegan cheese since I don't eat dairy. There was a sax player at the hostess stand, volume was good so you could talk.

Unfortunately I have to agree that our dinner experience was also disappointing. Although my spicey shrimp dish was really tasty, my friends were not pleased with their dinners. And every dish came with mashed potatoes….shrimp, ribs, etc. Very unusual, perhaps they should offer a choice of sides. They seem to be struggling to get things right, and it’s a great location. I hope they manage to get thing improved.

Just finished a great dorado empapelado there. It was not on the dinner menu but they prepared. It was delicious. Yes, mashed and veges is the staple side dish.

I've had two great dinners there and the price is within range of other similar restaurants in the area.

It was a full house and many commented on enjoying their dinner.

Happy that you enjoyed your experience. As noted, I enjoyed my dinner, but they just seem to have some growing pains. Still don’t understand the mashed potatoes though. ????

Santo Pacifico is the best seafood on the Boulevard!

Quality meals and great service. Prices are comparable and the coldest beer on the Boulevard.

Ate there 4 times in the past 8 days.

Many commented on their rib-eye being delicious and tender.

Give them a try.

Locally owned and part of the Familia Bravo.
