Is there a site where I can find out if the Fianza office is open, for getting our car registration done? I went by there yesterday and there was no blockade so I took my documents down this morning only to see that the protest is bigger than ever.

My Spanish continues to fail me, or I to fail it, but it appears it has something to do with teachers protesting the replacement of a school official.
I welcome correction.

Or it has to do with non-payment of correct wages for special eduction teachers?
The second link says the teachers are looking for ”concrete solutions”. Shouldn’t the mayor be able to help with that?

Yes, it's hard to keep up with all the reasons teachers shirk their duties in the classroom to go on strike, but they still get paid the same, work or no work.
The mayor is at FITUR in Spain (a yearly gathering which has NEVER in over 30 years sent us enough tourism to justify the cost of flying our mayors, their families and their entourages to Spain) pretending it's not an all-expense vacation paid for by Juan Q. Público. Even though I agree that she should be here fixing the teachers' strike and other problems, she and her defenders would argue that the teachers are a state and federal problem. And just like that, responsibility gets lost instead of being taken. While the USA is going back 80 years into the past, Mexico in many respects remains stuck in the past. For all the good Morena appears to be doing, it's still mostly just an illusion here in Guerrero.
Speaking of illusions, so much for the U.S. Constitution.

But if the teachers want a “concrete” solution, wouldn’t the mayor have enough concrete?
