whale watching
It was a pleasure to meet you and lovely Lupita on the pier that evening. You suggested I post pictures to tell the story of the trip. Here's the story.
Cathy and I and 4 other couples went on a whale watching tour with Captain Irvin. We saw many, including at least one pod of three, several twos and a few lone rangers. He was very respectful of the whales' personal space, as he should be, but my camera and photo skills were not up to great photos.
So, sorry for pictureless story, but the trip was a success anyway!
Thanks, Stu. I know taking photos on the water while rocking around isn't easy. Not to worry. Our imaginations can fill in the blanks. The important part is you went, saw whales, and had a marvelous time.
I love hearing that the local captains respect the whales' space. If only we could do that with other species like the crocs instead of crowding and filling in their lagoons and estuaries.
