It didn't get quite so cool Wednesday night for sleeping, and we had to turn the fan up a notch, but the sound of the small waves still made for great sleeping music. Thursday morning was still refreshing, but a haziness has moved into the region and remained throughout the day and into the evening. So the view across the bay and of the sierra isn't as crisp and clear as it has been recently.

There's going to be another kill fishing tournament this weekend, so that's what's going on at the pier this weekend that you may wish to visit or avoid. I wish they'd simply practice catch & release, though they are rewarding catch & release. But it should be the standard.

For those of you who found a baby Jesús in your Rosca de Los Reyes last Jan. 6, this Sunday is when you invite whoever was with you to atole and tamales. Don't forget!

The Danzón dancers will be at Plaza del Artista this Friday evening around sunset. Come enjoy the beautiful music and dancing.

This weekend we expect a lot of national tourists due to the long weekend. Monday is an official day of rest in observance of Día de la Constitución. Expect crowds.
