Horse Back riding on beach

There are a few places in Troncones and Playa Larga that offer horseback riding. Hit the googles to see options.

On a side note, I was "roped" into doing a horseback ride on the beach by my daughter in another part of Mexico. I am in good shape but damn! We did a two hour ride and the next day I felt like I got hit by a truck. So sore!

Most days I see visitors/tourists on horseback in Troncones. I mostly see them in the Playa Manzanillo area. They seem to be popular as sunset beach walks.

I sometimes see them on the main beach road, “Avenida de la Playa”. My guess is that when they are on the road they are on their way somewhere to do some kind of off-road horseback riding.

definitely at play larga as we took the bus there last weekend and our dog chased their two dogs. Bring extra shorts though sand from that beach gets in every orphis. We took the bus back covered in sand. Its a huge beach, but I think the horse guy hangs out at the far end of the beach near the combis and taxi location.
