I thought the new Capricho del Rey and the Partenon are where events like that should be held, instead of making folks walk through that nasty stinking walkway.

Underscoring the city's lack of education, around 6-something this Sunday morning I was awakened by the BOOM diddy BOOM diddy BOOM of disco music blaring from the pier where the mayor had organized a morning run. Disco music on Sunday morning! Even though I'm an atheist, I prefer church bells on Sunday morning to disco. I guess folks could hear it all the way across the bay since I could clearly hear it here by Plaza del Artista. Un-friggin-believable.
