INAPAM tarjeta - FYI

Info gained yesterday at the Inapam table located inside Fibazi compound: No Inapam tajetas will be issued to foreigners, whether permanent resident or otherwise; only to Mexican citizens. They will know when you present them a copy of your CURP. I'm happy to share this information.

Any idea when this change took place?

Recently; perhaps with the new president?

When I read about it on line a year or so ago, it was being implamented in a number of states.

They address requirements for non mexican citizens.
So it might only be a Guerrero state decision not to deliver them to foreigners.

Whats going on here in Zihuatanejo with the Permanantes. Not letting us obtain a drivers licence, now unable to obtain a Curb card. Not allowing the personnel deduction when selling your property. Is this in the State or just Zihuatanejo. Do the power to be not want us foreigners to live here or is it foreigner discrimination My friends in Mazatlan arent having these issues

When I paid my predial in city hall, I saw on their screen where you select what services you need, the title Driver's License. I asked the assistant about it and she gave me a slip of paper with the requirements, which I put in my pocket. When I got home I looked at it. One requirement was your INE identification card. Next day I returned and inquired. She said my passport is my ID. Nothing was mentioned as to only MX. citizens. Another change of policy, I don't know!
