I kept smelling petrichor during the night, and this Wednesday morning when I took our dog for a walk it was still slightly sprinkling. Divine! It barely got things wet, but it was enough to help wash the dust off the plants. There's a chance of more precipitation for this Thursday. My skin loves the humidity!

Every single day I fall deeper in love with the incredible woman I met here over 50 years ago. She's like no other woman I've ever known. I call her my Sirena Dorada because she was born on the beach here and her skin is a most beautiful golden color, like a goddess. I was smitten then and I remain even more so now. She makes every single day feel like the best day of my life. I must be the luckiest Gringo in Mexico!

Thursday is jueves pozolero here in Guerrero. There are many excellent pozolerías in our town, but my personal favorite is El Profe in Coacoyul. Don't forget to enjoy a shot or two of mezcal with your meal! It's part of the magic.
