This Sunday morning was possibly the coolest yet this year. It felt like it got down to about 18°C. Had to keep the fan on low and snuggle under the sheets. The sun felt wonderful when it finally rose over the hill instantly bringing warmth to all it touched. The breeze from the north this evening guarantees another cool evening. The forecast calls for more of the same. All that's missing is a little rain to wash off the dust and green up the hillsides.

The waves are currently up around 2 meters or more along the coast of Guerrero. Expect some beach erosion and watch out for riptides. I love being lulled to sleep by the waves in our bay. The water temperature is hanging in at around 27°C, depending on where you are. Plenty comfortable for swimming.

Only two more weeks until Semana Santa, our last big tourist rush until mid-July. It will likely get pretty crowded as it does most years. Hopefully, the water will stay nice and we won't have any upwelling and algae blooms that bring us red tide as happens frequently during this time of year. So far so good.

Most of our weekend visitors left earlier today in order to get home by dark. A few visitors from up north are still around, but their numbers are visibly dwindling. After Semana Santa we'll mostly have the place all to ourselves during the weekdays.

Hubo mucha bruma del mar y unas extrañas nubes concéntricas durante la mañana en la bahía de Zihuatanejo este domingo.
