The waves were still fairly big this Wednesday morning and throughout the day, though not quite as big as the previous day, but they're expected to increase in size again this Thursday. The beaches were all crowded again, with folks arriving early to claim their spots and set up their tents. I have to say, the municipal workers are doing a commendable job keeping things clean, and the visitors I've seen aren't making much extra work for them. Most of our visitors appear to be cleaning up quite well after themselves.
Wednesday was another day of excellent weather! Our visitors are certainly getting their money's worth. Saw plenty of them out strolling this evening along the waterfront, sunburned and smiling. Dancing to some good tunes from the DJ music at la Cancha Municipal. Enjoying themselves splendidly. This is what Zihuatanejo is all about!
Every day I spend here with my saint of a wife feels like the absolute best day of my life! We've been married for almost 35 years now, so that's a lot of best days! So if you see me walking around smiling for no apparent reason, now you know the reason. That's why I feel certain I must be the luckiest Gringo in Mexico.
