We have our first tropical disturbance warning of the season! And it certainly looks like rain is in the forecast in the coming days (which unfortunately means all the foul water and trash in Canal La Boquita is likely going into the bay due to the apparent inaction so far of the local government). As warm as the ocean water currently is off our coast, I expect storms will form up and grow quickly this season.

Another mar de fondo event is underway with waves of 5 to 8 ft, and it is expected to intensify to waves of 6 to 8 ft on the 25th of this month.

This Wednesday evening at 7:00 P.M. the Danzón dancers will be in Plaza del Artista. Come enjoy some of our local culture. You are welcome to participate, if you like. It is a beautiful style of dancing, and these people do it so well.

This Friday evening at 7:30, the Orquesta Sinfónica de la Secretaría de Marina will give a public performance at the Cancha Municipal. Come enjoy the musical talent of members of Mexico's Armada. It's guaranteed to be a wonderful cultural event. We hope to see you there. All are welcome.
