Just wondering if any changes on the Palma Real course have happened in the past year.
What shape is the course in and do the carts still pull you into the ponds with the crocks.
How about the price for 18 holes, rental clubs and extra passenger to ride along. Greens,fairways traps I’ve heard are grown over with weed and crabgrass.

The LOWERED their prices? Last info I had it was $2,750 for 18 holes before 2:00 PM, and $1,950 after 2:00 PM. I'll be happy to update my info is someone can confirm it.

What a deal to play a cow pasture. You can save $$$ though skipping the crocodile viewing at the zoo and see them up close when you hit the brakes on the golf cart while it takes you into the ponds. Bring snacks.

Gracias, amigo. Allowing for some minor differences of exchange rates, it looks like they are indeed still charging the rates I have posted.

A shame to see them charge such rates and essentially have the golf course and tennis courts sit mostly unused year round. Albeit it's been over 36 years since I played, but in Florida I played much better courses for about a fifth of the cost.

I enjoyed the course up to 3 yrs ago when it was ok to pay about 75 bucks for all.
Then it went into the bazaro world.
We still love everything else about Ixtapa and Zihua when we come down. 18 yrs straight to our home away from home.

the Palma Real course was in great shape in April. I played numerous rounds there last winter and the course was always great. The Marina course, on the other hand, is dilapidated and we stopped playing there. Less than half the price tho!

That’s good news. What is the cost if you rented clubs and took the wife?

How’s the golf courses looking down there? Better shape or the same. Golf carts and club rentals any changes.
