Orgullo NaZIHonal
The rain that was forecast for Saturday night never made it to Zihuatanejo. It passed by just off our coast and we saw the storm clouds blow away at dawn. Frustrating. ¡'Tamos sala'os!
It warmed up to 34°C in Zihuatanejo today. The beachgoers acted like they didn't notice. They relaxed in the water and kept cool in the shade. Mostly families with members of all ages. All glad to be right here enjoying Zihuatanejo's NATURAL BEAUTY. There seemed to be about the same number of visitors today as yesterday. Streets and walkways are full of people, but they still don't seem to be buying much, and some of the waterfront restaurants weren't very busy at all early Sunday evening when we strolled by.
Mexicans were proud to see Pato O'Ward win the Ontario Honda Dealers Indy Toronto street race this Sunday. Two weeks, two races, two wins! ¡Viva México!
Not a day goes by that I don't give thanks to be right here with the love of my life enjoying our slow pace of life, our fascinating culture and especially our delicious food. Some days I'm positive I must be the luckiest Gringo in Mexico.

El gobierno municipal de Zihuatanejo envió todos estos trabajadores y más para colocar 3 bicis en la playa para que los turistas las monten y saquen la foto.
