¡Feliz Día del Perro!

Monday morning was cloudy and looking like it might rain, but as usual for this time of year the clouds blew away, the sun came out, and we enjoyed another perfect beach day in Zihuatanejo. But there weren't near as many visitors here today to enjoy it as there were this past weekend. The heat wasn't as bad today as yesterday, though the nights are currently the warmest they've been all year. Gotta turn the fans up a notch.

Speaking of fans, I want to recommend the fans made by a Mexican company called Man. We've had a lot of fans over the decades, but the best ones have always been made by Man. We like the pedestal model with adjustable height and direction. Gotta clean it regularly, but they've always lasted us the longest. Coppel sells them at a good price.

While I'm recommending things, I might as well recommend these surprising earbuds I bought a couple of months ago. I never liked the earbuds that came with my iPhone, and I bought some Soundcore headphones a few months back for the noise cancellation, and I was impressed with the quality for the price, so I did a little research before buying their Liberty 4 NC earbuds. Damn! Great quality for the price, and their app makes it even better. 10 hours' worth of use on a single charge, and the carrying case gives them 50 hours use per charge. I'm surprised how much I like them. So if you see me dittybopping along, I'm probably wearing them. Got a good price on Mercado Libre.

Another mar de fondo event is due to arrive tonight or this Tuesday, though its waves are only expected to reach 5 to 7 feet. High tide is when might can do the most damage along the coast and affect the use of local piers, so there's something to keep an eye on.

We might get some rain this Thursday. Keeping fingers crossed.
