A very refreshing night with mild temps made for perfect sleeping weather and a comfortable morning's walk before sunrise. What a thrill to awaken beside the love of my life each morning! And we're both quite privileged because our daughter makes us a delicious breakfast each morning. The beginning of another marvelous day in our humble but extremely happy home. I just might be the luckiest Gringo in Mexico. ;-)

Quite a few visitors have shown up in the region so far this weekend. The beaches, streets and lodgings are filling up along with the restaurants. And they are expected to continue filling up in the coming days as the vacation season hits full stride.

Because of Saturday evening's Desfile Navideña, Calle Juan N. Álvarez was closed off around 7:30 this morning, and except for some service vehicles and an ambulance, there's been no traffic at all on our street all day. What a pleasure! Don't miss the sounds of traffic at all.

Now the street is filling up with spectators awaiting the parade which should be getting underway any minute. Afterwards, starting around 9:30 P.M. there's going to be a concert at the Cancha Municipal. ENJOY!

And this Sunday evening at the Cancha Municipal starting at 6:00 P.M. there's going to be a huge wingding called a Fandango Costeño that will include the Folkloristas Unidas en México. The evening promises to be extremely entertaining with music and dancing. Hope to see you all here!
