Apparently, the fireworks were set off at 2:30 and 4 am for a wedding reception at KauKan restaurant in Punto Garrobo. The very loud pounding supposedly "music" started early Sunday afternoon and lasted until 5 am Monday. I called 911 at 3 and 4 am. Plus, strobe lights flashed into many windows in Cerro del Vigia all night. Many could not sleep.

Which is one reason I can no longer recommend Kau-Kan restaurant. They should know better, and so should the ayuntamiento. Of course the authorities you called did nothing. You should've reported gunfire, at least they would've showed up 45 minutes later.
