We also recommend Rodrigo. We have done several tours with him. He is always on time, professional, perfect English. We are returning to Morelia in two weeks to see the butterflies with Rodrigo.

Definitely go with a Federally licensed guide to witness the monarch butterfly overwintering site.
Their knowledge of Mexican history, culture, mythology, even the flora and fauna of the region is like going back to school.
