Fiestas, Cemento y ViolenZIHa
No one I've spoken with is in favor of the mayor's plan to demolish the offices of the Capitanía and turn it into a huge slab of hot cement for her events and parties, but because she controls access to resources the local captains and other users of the pier need, no one is willing to speak out publicly against the incredibly unpopular, very costly and extremely unnecessary project. I seem to be "it". So, if anything happens to me...
I've heard otherwise from residents who enjoy the many recent changes made over the years. Certain FB pages also demonstrates the support of many Locals.I was fortunate to be at a dinner Sunday evening where the sketchings and a video of the new plan was shared. Impressive.
Gee, you must be referring to priistas in the community who dare not say anything negative about their politicians. Not the captains. Not the majority of people here. You're certainly not seeing the FB pages of the principal local news media where the diagrams are currently being displayed, and they're criticized by the great majority of readers.
