Sad news in Ixtapa

Sadly, Alex from Alex Sports Bar in Ixtapa, passed away 2 days ago. You can find posts on his FB page Alex Sport Bar. He was such a nice guy. He will be missed dearly. RIP Alex

YES, this will leave a void. I hope the family continues the business!

We had several fun stops at Alex's through the past many trips to Ixtapa and Zihua. Our nightly walk back to Nautica condos after eating in downtown Ixtapa were often highlighted by Alex shouting for all pedestrians to visit for "TEQUILA SHOTS!!" Didn't do those very often, but his margaritas were very good! RIP Alex - you were fun!
