Pet travel back to the us

Actually under your contract terms with Global Entry you are required to self declare your dog to agents . Agents are supposed to refer you to agriculture check point and review your documents noting dog . Not doing this puts your Global Entry at risk of being permanently revoked .
At LAX , we were stopped at the exit and warned our GE was at risk because we did not check in with our dogs paperwork at the agriculture desk . We told him it wasn’t staffed and we had shown our paperwork to GE. He told us there is a call button . We returned and were able to leave with just a warning .
I followed this up with a phone call to confirm this policy with the office of GE supervisor at SFO. He confirmed this is correct . GE is based on pre screened travelers truthfully declaring animals or tariff items . Being caught not self declaring can revoke your GE privilege . It’s at the discretion of the agent to warn or revoke . I’m not risking my GE on a 5 minute delay declaring my dogs and checking in . If they wave me off , fine but I’ve done my due diligence on what I agreed to with GE.
