No rain Sunday night, but it sure got cool. Had to sleep under the sheets and turn the fan down. Brrrr!

Monday morning was another beautiful and refreshing morning. The clouds kept the temperature down most of the day. It almost rained this afternoon. Heard some thunder, but no wet stuff downtown.

One storm after another keeps forming off our coast. So far they all keep heading westward, but there's no reason with the hurricane season, and it's always possible one will head our way. At least we're finally getting some precipitation, and the temperatures aren't as high as they were. But the rains mean the ocean is getting runoff, and we still have thousands of people living in the region with no plumbing. Most communities still have no wastewater treatment plants. So swimming is not recommended after a rainstorm, though apparently no one bothers to inform our visitors of the health risk since they're out there swimming every morning after each rain we've had.

Surfing remains decent with waves around a meter or so, expected to get bigger during the week. The ocean remains bathwater warm at just under 32°C in Zihuatanejo Bay.

Hardly any tourism around today. The last week of summer vacation.

A luxurious 2BR 2-story main house and a 1BR guesthouse, both with A/C, that together can accommodate up to 8 persons, located on the beach with a large sundeck upstairs and a refreshing pool in front of the living and dining area.

Yo creo que la temporada de lluvias es la parte más hermosa del año en Zihuatanejo.
