recharging telcel from Canada

Anybody from Canada try to do this before getting to zihua?

I never had luck doing it from Alaska but there maybe a third party system that you can use to recharge outside of Mexico.

It appears that way but so far in the U.S. and fees to do so.

I have never had any luck trying to recharge via their website. My VPN starts screaming at me whenever I follow the link that Telcel recommends. Paranoia then gets the better of me and I just wait until I can find an OXXO.

Once again I submit!

Before I left Canada I logged onto recharge.com and topped up my telcel SIM card. Easy peasy took less than 5 minutes. Then after I arrived I went to the Telcel customer service centre to register my cell, that took about 20 minutes but pretty much straight forward.
