There is incredibly loud thumping music coming from the direction above the south end of La Ropa. Kau Kan maybe? It seems like the location is the same as Alicia Keyes' multi-night birthday party "bash" last winter that we were forced to endure. Police, of course, did nothing.
We are at least a mile away with our doors and windows closed. Thump, thump, thump.
Does anyone have info on this current lot of rude-ass, clueless interlopers?

The fireworks were in front of The Thompson. We can see Kau Kan but we didn't hear then last night, fortunately.

Last weekend I endured 3 nights of the loud thump, thump, just north of Playa Larga. The last night Nov 2nd went from 1:30 am until 5:30 am. Don t know what motivates people to willfully destroy themselves and others?

We are on the hill above Thompson and it was very loud. There was a wedding party there when we walked the beach last night and we assumed it was the music from their reception.
Wish I could

I wish I could give you some encouraging news, but it seems as long as we have the current husband-and-wife pair of politicians of the PRI party swapping the mayor's office between themselves, we can only expect more noise, Disneylandish antics, and loss of our local character, culture, and nature that have been our attractions for decades. The husband-and-wife political team sells cement, gravel, and rocks. It's all they're interested in doing. While beachgoers are banned at "Blue Flag" beaches from enjoying the beaches as they normally would, including maybe playing some music they can dance to at the beach, there are no such restrictions on any of the beachfront restaurants or any of the events arranged by the municipal government or people who sell events that include fireworks. They have free rein, which is obviously quite contradictory with the rules they expect beachgoers to abide by. And it's near impossible to be able to call someone, such as the police who should normally respond to such calls, to complain about the noise, much less actually DO something about it. Unfortunately, that is the Zihuatanejo we currently live in. And folks who complain too much about the laws our municipal government breaks seem to end up dead, as did our local ecology reporter Alex Serna last June, or a local doctor at the Hospital General yesterday who complained about missing drugs at the hospital and was promptly executed. I've risked my life for years in order to simply be honest with my readers.
