Restaurant Review: Agave
My husband and I went for the first time last night for dinner. It is located downtown, I believe on Nicolas Bravo, across from the Anfibios store, up on the second floor.
Both of us were very impressed with the meal. We had the beef tenderloin that melted in our mouths (cooked perfectly to our liking which is hard to come by) and the Camarones Gabardina (I hope I got that right) - huge manchego stuffed shrimp with a delicious green poblano sauce.
The prices are reasonable as well. They have a small variety of apps, salads and soups. You can get a delicious Mexican dish including mole or chiles rellenos for less than $100, seafood or chicken pasta for $150 or less and beef/seafood/fish dishes for $95-$220. The serving size was right on and the decor is very nice.
We left thinking Agave is an excellent dining choice downtown. It's proof you don't always need the ocean/bay view to make an excellent meal.

My husband and I were there in December and enjoyed a FABULOUS meal. The owner (Lionel) is attentive and a joy to talk with and the Chef fabulous. Do put this on your list of restaurants to try in Zihua. It is a definite must go to.

It is one of the few places I can get cold cream of avocado soup , which is my most favorite thing in the world. I reccomend it highly
