My husband and I were in town for that first re-visited Carnaval they had, was it 5 or 6 years ago (not sure exactly when), and loved it. We considered coming next year in early March instead of late Feb, but we will be sure not to come during Carnaval week. We would be really upset if town was too busy to enjoy.
