With much gratitude and understanding totally how much we daily depend on God and the good hearts of His people we (the board of HMAM) announce the grand opening of Bet Shalom,Home for abandoned seniors in Las Pozas. There is much to be done and yet with the need so profound we are ready to receive the first 8 residents.Rob through his message board and many of you supported Alisa Duncan's cycle 2009 journey from Zihua to OKC which was a major boost to Bet Shalom's beginnings. Today at 3 p.m. we will see the reality start to unfold.If you wish to attend the ceremony you are very welcome. For information about the Home, volunteering or supporting in some other way please write to cavenaghster@gmail.com.

This is terrific news, Rose! I wish I could be there but I'm a bit overextended for the moment.
As always, my resources are at your disposal for assisting the elderly and raising funds for their home. I know the job is never over when it comes to caring for Zihuatanejo's needy and elderly.
Congratulations to everyone who helped make this dream come true! Especially to Alisa who set such a heroic example with her tenacious spirit.

WOO woooo! At last! Congratualtions to all of you for your hard work! Can't wait to see it inhabited and feeling lived in. Test the faucet at the sink for us! Wish we were there.
